Elizabeth Conover

     Elizabeth A. (Ritter) Conover, 77, of East Peoria, passed away at 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
     Funeral services will be at Noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Clary Funeral Home, 428 West McClure Avenue in Peoria, with the Rev. Bill Williams officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
     Elizabeth was born in Peoria on September 2, 1933, a daughter of Maurice and Elizabeth (Ward) Ritter. She married Howard Winton Conover on September 22, 1951 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1995 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel; and grandson, Andrew.
     She is survived by her sons, Michael (Kathy) of Virden, Howard of Sacramento, CA, David Sr. (Brenda) of East Peoria and Timothy (Tina) of Peoria; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
     Elizabeth retired in 1983, after over twenty years of service, as a paralegal for Prairie State Legal Services in Peoria.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to the American Heart Association.
